Task 3 - Character Profile

CHARACTER PROFILE 

The main character is a civilian named David Mandelson, who is in the middle of his day off in Los Angeles, just as an European army sweeps into the city and begins fighting the American Army. He is academically and physically mediocre, preventing him to be stuck behind a desk inevitably for the rest of his career. He is 21 in the events of the game, having just graduated from university. He was born in Britain within the city of London and moved over to America, expecting a great job, but ends up having a run of the mill office job and is overworked and under paid. He is estranged from his family, and no intentions to ever go back to England. He has a older brother, Craig who enlisted in the European Alliance and could be part of the force which attacked Los Angeles. Before the events of the game, he is mild mannered, but when the European army invades Los Angeles, he is forced to fight back with a Militia named The Redeemers, when the American army fails to stop the assault and slowly becomes a killer in both looks and personality. He goes from a shy and reserved individual before the attack, but when he is forced to take up arms against the European oppressors, he becomes head strong and confident.  He quickly rises up the ranks of the militia.
